Where possible we always encourage families to walk, cycle or scoot to school. We understand that it is not always possible to walk to school and are grateful to have a car park on site as well as additional parking nearby in Kings Park.
If you chose to drive to school then please follow the guidance below:
Parking on Site
When parking on site please only use the designated parking spaces. Nobody should be parking on curbs or in the disabled spaces without a blue badge. By parking appropriately it helps us keep the car park a safe space for our children, parents and staff.
Parking in Nearby Streets
We have recently received complaints from local residents that are understandably frustrated about parents parking in permit holder only spaces. This spaces are purchased from the council privately by residents and should not be used by the public without permits. Please also take care to abide by council rules when parking on single yellow lines.
Kings Park Car Park
Ideally parents should park here if possible, leaving the school car park only for those in need of very close or last minute parking. This additional public car park can be accessed via Petersfield Road with a short walking path that leads across the park to our school.
We would like to thank the vast majority of parents that consistently follow our guidance by parking safely and sensibly on a daily basis.
